Young Audience Program

Sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite simple. The tricky part is only that you can't get a second ticket at the box office for your girl or boy friend. You'll have to line up together.

"For events marked Young Audience Program secondary school and university students, as well as members of the military and civil service can purchase from a limited contingent, seat tickets at a unified price of Euro 10,-.

These tickets will be sold two weeks prior to the respective performance at the daily box office. Only holders of the appropriate ID can purchase one of these tickets.

This ID will also have to be shown in addition to the ticket on admission to the auditorium. (Quote from our ticket sale terms and conditions).

Student Tickets

There are student tickets for EUR 10,- at the evening box office in case there are still tickets available.

Reduced Price Standing Room Tickets

Don’t feel like lining up at the evening box office, but still want to get
into the opera or ballet inexpensively?

As of the first weekday after the beginning of box office and on-line
advance sales, you have a chance to purchase standing room tickets at a 50% discount.

And many standing room places aren’t standing room at all, but are rather equipped with a little bench.

New: Young Audience card

The "Young Audience" card costs EUR 20,- per season and enables school children, students and young people doing military service or community service to buy tickets for "Young Audience" performances for EUR 8,-.
