The event was geared toward the members of the Premium Circle - an élite circle of Bavarian State Opera sponsors - as well as to selected leading representatives of the business and cultural communities.

The agenda included two lectures on the significance of "Customer Orientation in Times of Crisis in Culture and Business". The top speakers were the CEO of the Linde Company, Wolfgang Reitzle and the Director of the Royal Academy of the Arts, Norman Rosenthal.

Participating in the following round table discussion along with the speakers were also Roland Berger, Chairman of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and patron of the event and Sir Peter Jonas, General Manager of the Bavarian State Opera. This high-level discussion was chaired by Hans Werner Kilz, Editor in Chief of Munich's Süddeutsche Zeitung.

That evening, participants enjoyed an all-star presentation of featuring Anna Netrebko as Violetta.

At the following banquet in the Royal Hall of the Nationaltheater, the guests from the business and cultural communities were joined by the artists in the performance, among them the General Music Director of the Bavarian State Opera, Zubin Mehta, and, of course, the popular star of the evening, Anna Netrebko.
