Advance sale for the 2010/11 season has begun! As of right now, you can purchase tickets for all dates until October 31 at the box office, by telephone or on-line. Both the call center and the box office are there to serve you from Monday to Saturday from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M.
One of the first highlights of the new season is marked by the Mozart Weeks. With three works by the composer, the Bavarian State Opera pays homage right at the outset to one of its “house gods”. Until the October 1, three repertoire classics, Die Zauberflöte, Le nozze di Figaro and Così fan tutte will be on the program. These works will be front and center at the Bavarian State Opera in timeless productions by August Everding and Dieter Dorn, needless to say with all-star casts: in Figaro, Christian Gerhaher, one of the leading singers of our time, will appear as Count Almaviva; Miah Persson will be singing Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, and young soprano Kathleen Kim will make her début at the Nationaltheater in Die Zauberflöte.
