Music by Peter I. Tschaikowsky

The Spanish choreographer and former artistic director of the Compañia Nacional de Danza,Nacho Duato, has been a frequent guest in Munich. His name has become most familiar to balletomanes since the creation of Multiplicity – Forms of Silence and Emptiness for the Bavarian State Ballet. In 2013, he returns to Munich as the artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Ballet, where he has assembled a group of extraordinary and internationally sought after soloists, creating great buzz and competition among the two Russian Star ensembles. On April 23rd and 24th, we welcome his ensemble for two performances of The Sleeping Beauty with choreography by Duato himself and stunning costumes by Angelina Atlagič at the Nationaltheater.
