Ballet Festival Week 2013
April 21 – April 29, 2013
We celebrate the opening of the Ballet Festival Week 2013 with an original full-length ballet by Terence Kohler. Heroes - are of the past? Do we still need them, and if so, what makes a real hero? Composer Lera Auerbach contributes the original score while both costume and set will be designed by rosalie. On April 23 and 24, the Mikhailovsky Ballet St. Petersburg will present Nacho Duato's Sleeping Beauty at the Nationaltheater. Finally, after a two year absence, we continue our popular Terpsichore Gala series with number XI.
